Northwest Sweet 16 – 2019 Schedule

Doors open for competitors at 1pm, but everyone is welcome. Doors open for public at 7pm, but again, come whenever you wish! $15 at the door, cash preferred. Kids under 10 for $5

SCHEDULE:
1pm – DOORS OPEN FOR COMPETITORS
2-4pm – All Style Prelims, 8 Dancers advance to finals
4-7pm – 2v2 Breaking Crew Prelim, 8 crews advance to finals

7pm – DOORS OPEN FOR PUBLIC
7:30-8:30pm – All Style Finals, quarters/semis
8:30-11pm – Breaking Finals, Sweet 16/crew battle

Power King Exhibition Round 2

Our 2nd round Power King Exhibition at the All Style Sweet 16 shaped up nicely. We had a good combination of new school vs old school. In the end Fumi ended up with the belt, favoring clean, shorter sets, to the younger bucks with long difficult rounds. Props to Matt, James, and defending champ Khang for holding it down though. Northwest Sweet 16 Bracket Updates!!!

Congratulations to Jason Kuang for winning the Portland Sweet 16 prelim at Know the Ledge. He will be our last addition in the year’s Northwest Sweet 16.

In other news, Ives, last year’s runner up, has dropped due to family issues. Buckshot from Unleashed crew will be taking his place.

Northwest Sweet 16 Bracket Announcement!

The PDX finals just happened this last weekend. The final battle included Tombo and Merk, check out the battle here. Congrats to Merk for the win. He will be representing at the finals on February 23rd.

In other news, J-Styles dropped from the bracket due to a TV filming schedule conflict. The invite for that fill spot has been extended to Tombo, Still waiting to hear back on if he accepts.
